Percentage practice
Short percentage questions with the working shown after each answer. The answers come from the same code as the percentage calculator.

What you practise
Each question asks for one number. After you answer, you see your answer next to the correct one, followed by the steps. When your answer matches a common slip, such as forgetting to divide by 100, the feedback names it. Your progress stays on this device.
- Percent of a number: for example 15% of 80
- Part of a whole: what percentage is 12 of 80?
- Percentage change: from 50 to 65
- Finding the whole: 12 is 15% of what number?
Levels and difficulty
Choose vmbo, havo or vwo. Difficulty (1–4) adapts while you practice: five right in a row moves you up a step; two or fewer out of five moves you down and opens the explanation. At havo and vwo, questions start with the exam verb bereken (calculate), defined in the Dutch exam-verb list as "het gevraagde uitrekenen", working out what is asked (syllabus wiskunde B havo 2027 (Examenblad)). Test mode adds a timer, removes hints and ends with one summary.
Example
Calculate 15% of 80.
- Formula: amount = number × percentage ÷ 100
- Fill in: 80 × 15 ÷ 100
- Multiply: 80 × 15 = 1200
- Divide: 1200 ÷ 100 = 12
Answer: 12. The percentage calculator gives the same steps.
